Jesse Thompson (November 14, 1749 – June 23, 1834) was an American politician from New York

Life

He was born on November 14, 1749.

He was a member of the New York State Assembly (Dutchess Co.) in 1796, 1796–97, 1798, 1808–09, 1814 and 1819.

He died on June 23, 1834, in Fleming, Cayuga County, New York

Governor Enos T. Throop (1784–1874), State Senator George B. Throop (1793–1854) and Congressman Israel T. Hatch (1808–1875) were his nephews.
