Hobyo District (Somali: Degmada Hobyo) is a district in the north-central Mudug region of Somalia. Its capital lies at the coastal Hobyo city.
Hobyo was the second district that was recognized as a district in Somalia after Zeila.
Hobyo is the largest district in mudug.
