Celtic Woman: The Greatest Journey is the fourth studio album by the group Celtic Woman, released on 28 October 2008. It is an Essential Collection album composed of tracks from their self-titled debut and A New Journey albums with a couple reworked, plus three new tracks.

Celtic Woman: The Greatest Journey - The Essential Collection DVD
Celtic Woman: The Greatest Journey - The Essential Collection was released on DVD on 30 January 2008. The DVD featured vocalists Chloë Agnew, Órla Fallon, Lisa Kelly, Méav Ní Mhaolchatha, Hayley Westenra and fiddler Máiréad Nesbitt. The DVD followed the same format as the CD by reprising songs from previous concerts at the Helix in 2004 and Slane Castle in 2006. Some of the tracks were presented as montages of footage from both concerts, such as 'Orinoco Flow', while others were partially abbreviated, such as 'Mo Ghile Mear'.

Celtic Woman: The Story so Far
The DVD also included the 55-minute documentary The Story so Far. The Story so Far follows the group from its creation in 2004 to film the original DVD and PBS special, up to the A Christmas Celebration show in 2007 and into 2008 with indications of another North American tour to take place in early 2009 as well as another DVD and PBS special - later to be Celtic Woman: Songs from the Heart, which was filmed at Powerscourt House and Gardens in summer 2009.
Members Chloë Agnew, Órla Fallon, Lisa Kelly, Máiréad Nesbitt, Lynn Hilary and Alex Sharpe all gave interviews as part of the documentary, as did CEO Scott Porter and director/composer David Downes, among others. Deirdre Shannon only appeared during a brief interview section from the 2005 North American Tour, and Méav Ní Mhaolchatha only appeared during a brief interview segment from the Celtic Woman: A Christmas Celebration show (although both featured throughout the DVD). Hayley Westenra, who appeared during the Celtic Woman: A New Journey segment did not give an interview.
The Story so Far covered the Celtic Woman (Helix, 2004), North American Tour (2005), Celtic Woman: A New Journey (Slane Castle, 2006), and Celtic Woman: A Christmas Celebration (Helix, 2007) shows among others. Also covered were recording sessions with the girls and another recording session with Irish Film Orchestra conductor John Page (a friend of David Downes), the Irish Film Orchestra, and Máiréad (who only appeared once on film during this session) during the preliminary recording of the music for A New Journey in early 2006.
