Linaria ricardoi is a very rare Portuguese endemic plant species. This species main distribution area is near Beja region (Baixo Alentejo) and blossoms in March to May. There are only a few known populations of the Linaria ricardoi distributed in a metapopulation, and it faces risk of extinction due to land use change.
