Velesunio wilsonii is a species of freshwater mussel endemic to Australia.

Biology and ecology

Velesunio wilsonii is able to aestivate for up to 5 years.[citation needed]

Distribution

Velesunio wilsonii can be found in the Northern Territory, Western Australia, Queensland and northern New South Wales.[1]
