Alkapuri is an urban area in the western side of Vadodara City, in the state of Gujarat, in India.
It is one of the oldest areas of the ever-growing Western part of Vadodara. Alkapuri mainly refers to the New Vadodara, with large shopping malls and some of the best hotels in Gujarat. It is also a Central Business District (CBD) of Vadodara.
Alkapuri is one of the most sought after expensive residential streets in Asia known for its overall safety, healthcare system, educational system and easily accessible to all urban transportation.[citation needed]
