Kinwar is a clan whose members belong either to the Rajput or Bhumihar caste.[1] Both the Rajput and Bhumihar members principally reside in the states of Bihar and Eastern Uttar Pradesh.[2] A particularly large population of Kinwar Bhumihars can be found in Ghazipur district.[3][4]
