Jilotzingo is a town and municipality in Mexico State in Mexico. The municipality covers an area of 143.66 km².

As of 2005, the municipality had a total population of 13,825.[1]

In 2016, the mayor Juan Antonio Mayen Saucedo was murdered[2] and the body of TV presenter Renato López was found.
