Nawabganj is a town and a nagar panchayat in Unnao district in the Indian state of Uttar Pradesh.
Demographics
As of 2001[update] India census, Nawabganj had a population of 9,837. Males constitute 52% of the population and females 48%. Nawabganj has an average literacy rate of 56%, lower than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 62%, and female literacy is 49%. In Nawabganj, 15% of the population is under 6 years of age.[1]
Tourism
Nawabganj Bird Sanctuary, a bird sanctuary and nature reserve, is located near the town.
