Ron Thulin

Ron Thulin is a sportscaster who currently works for Stadium (sports network) and Fox Sports Net. He was formerly with Turner Sports.

Biography

Thulin has called play-by-play for college football coverage on TBS and NBA coverage on TBS and TNT. He currently calls college basketball for Fox Sports Net and has done play-by-play for FSN's coverage of college football. He also called football and basketball games for ABC Sports, ESPN, Raycom Sports, and Prime Network. He called basketball at the 1990 and 1994 Goodwill Games for Turner Sports. He also called alpine skiing for the 1992 and 1994 Winter Olympic Games and Pan American Games. He started as sports anchor for two television stations: KTVY-TV (now known as KFOR-TV) in Oklahoma City and KXAS-TV in Dallas.

Personal life

Thulin resides in San Antonio with his wife Paula and two daughters, Katie and Joanna. He is a graduate of Southern Nazarene University.
