Summer Paralympics appearances (overview)

Sweden will be competing at the 2020 Summer Paralympics in Tokyo, Japan, which will take place from 25 August to 6 September 2020. This will be their sixteenth consecutive appearance at the Summer Paralympics since 1960.

Archery

Sweden collected one quota place at the 2019 Para Archery World Championships held in Den Bosch, Netherlands.[1]

Athletics

Per Jonsson qualified to compete in the long jump T13 event.

Cycling

Sweden is scheduled to compete in cycling at the 2020 Summer Paralympics.

Shooting

Sweden qualified for the 2020 Summer Paralympics after their results at the 2018 World Shooting Para Sport Championships and the 2019 World Shooting Para Sport World Cup.[2]

The athletes that qualified for the 2020 Summer Paralympics are Bang Yu-Jeong, Joackim Norberg, Håkan Gustafsson, Philip Jonsson and Anna Normann.

Table tennis

Anna-Carin Ahlquist qualified to compete at the 2020 Summer Paralympics.
