Laarbi Batma (or Larbi Batma) (Template:Lang-ar; born in Chaouia; 1948 - 7 February 1997) was a Moroccan musician, poet, singer, author, actor, and the front man of the group Nass El Ghiwane. The leader was since the beginning the singer and bendir player, Omar Sayed.

Cinema

Laarbi Batma was the lead actor in the Moroccan movie "Al Naoura" (in French : "Le Jour du Forain"), directed by Driss Kettani and Mohamed Abdelkrim Derkaoui. It was released in 1984.[1]
