Foustown is an unincorporated community in West Manchester Township, York County, Pennsylvania, United States.

Foustown is located at 39°59′42″N 76°46′18″W / 39.99500°N 76.77167°W / 39.99500; -76.77167 (39.9950974, -76.7716341).[1] It lies 502 feet (153 m) above sea level.

This region of York County is known to have an abundance of clay, which is the main reason potters from Europe settled here in the late 18th and early 19th centuries.[citation needed]
