Dhal Char

Dal Char is an island located at the south of Bhola District in Bangladesh. It is also a union parishad under Char Fasson Upazila of Bhola District.

Geographical description: Dal Char is surrounded by the river Meghna. The east part of the island is decreasing day by day because of river bank erosion. The island is marked as one of the most vulnerable areas for natural disaster.

Tourist area: Recently Tarua sea beach get popularity for tourism which is located at southern part of this island.

Transportation from mainland: The closest point of mainland is Kossopia 35 kilometres (22 miles) away from Charfashion.
