Mohammad Mohammadi Barimanloo (Persian: محمد محمدی بریمانلو; born 24 January 1991) is an Iranian judoka.[1] Mohammad Mohammadi Barimanlou (born 24 January 1991 from Bojnurd) is an Iranian Judoka (73 kg). He participated at the World Championships in Baku in 2018 as the agent of Iran and won bronze medal. He won second place at the 2019 Asian Championships in Kazakhstan. He won bronze medal at the Asian Games Jakarta 2018. He should have participated at the 2019 World Championship with Saeid Mollaei. He was in a category with Israeli judoka. Since he had to face an Israeli judoka at the World Judo Championships Tokyo 2019, he could not go to Tokyo. As a protest Mohammad Mohammadi Barimanlou has decided to retire at 26 years old. Mohammad Mohammadi Barimanlou and Saeid Mollaei had the same limitations by the Iranian policy. Mohammad Mohammadi could not go to Tokyo, but Saeid Mollaei participated to defeat the Olympic champion without medal. Mohammad's father was excited during watching Mohammad's matches and had heart attack and died. He participated at the 2018 World Judo Championships, winning a medal.[2]
