Cadaado, also known as Adado, is one of the largest cities in the Galguduud region of Galmudug state in central Somalia. Adado is a rapidly developing city in central Somalia.
Location
Adado is 77 km away from Dhusamareb the Capital city of Galmudug state of Somalia and Galgaduud region administrative capital. The central main highway of Somalia goes through the city and is one of the main reasons the city is economically booming like many cities and towns The central main highway of Somalia go through, all the goods from the South and North of the country go through the central main high.
The trucks that carry the supplies from the South and the North of the country stop by the cities and towns the main highway goes through for Gas or for food.
Demographics
The broader Adado District had a population of 395,051 residents as of 2016, it is populated by Saleebaan, Habar Gidir of the larger Hawiye.[1][2]
Services
Several health centres exist in the city, among them is Adado General Hospital which is one of the best hospitals in central Somalia.[3]
Transportation
Air transportation in the city is served by Adado International Airport as the largest airport in Galmudug. A major renovation took place in the airport in 2013, a new airport immigration was built in 2013 funded by the former regional state of Himan and Heeb.[4]
