Boclod is one of 29 barangays or villages in the municipality of San Jose, Camarines Sur in the Philippines. [1]

Geography and Demographics

Barangay Boclod is classified as a rural place. It is generally described as plain with a total land area of 272.365100 hectares. It is bounded to the north by Bahay, south by Pugay, east by Soledad, and in the west by National Road (Goa, Camarines Sur). Its major source of livelihood is agriculture (farming). It has a total of 293 households.

Government

Elected barangay officials for 2018-2021 are as follows: Roberto A. Luzada- Punong Barangay and the barangay councilors are: Edwin C. Obias, Maribel S. Pillos, Ariel R. Buenafrancisca, Salvador P. Respeto Jr., Celeste P. Prado, Emmanuel B. Valencia, Marlyn P. Obias. On the other hand, the Sanggunian Kabataan elected officials for 2018-2021 include Nolito R. Puri Jr. and the SK Kagawad inclue Jomari V. Curba, Loren S. Froa, Jeannette P. Alio, Jessa B. Piloton, Nena F. Daco, Michael Angelo M. Valencia, and Kaiz M. Puri. The appointed barangay secretary and treasurer are: Geldivin P. Ortiz and Rodrigo P. Bien Jr., respectively.
