Nevasa taluka (Newasa), is a taluka in Shrirampur subdivision of Ahmednagar district in Maharashtra State of India.[1] Nevasa is a place where Sant Dnyaneshwar wrote the Dnyaneshwari.

Newasa is also well known for its historical sites.
