Wa Airport (IATA: WZA, ICAO: DGLW) is an airstrip serving Wa, a city in the Upper West Region of Ghana which is also its capital.[1] The land was acquired by the Government in the year 1958.[2]

The airport opened to scheduled commercial flight operations on 15 October 2019 with service by Africa World Airlines from Accra via Tamale using an Embraer 145 regional jet.[3]
