Permatang is a state constituency in Selangor, Malaysia, that has been represented in the Selangor State Legislative Assembly since 1974.

The state constituency was created in the 1974 redistribution and is mandated to return a single member to the Selangor State Legislative Assembly under the first past the post voting system. Since 2018, the State Assemblyman for Permatang is Rozana Zainal Abidin from the Parti Keadilan Rakyat (PKR), which is part of the state's ruling coalition, Pakatan Harapan (PH).

History

2004–2016: The constituency contains the polling districts of Hulu Tiram Buruk, Hulu Tiram Buruk Utara, Batang Berjuntai Satu, Ladang Mary, Sungai Tinggi, Batang Berjuntai Utara, Kampung Raja Musa, Ladang Raja Musa, Kampung Baharu Tiram Buruk, Parit Serong, Sungai Gulang-Gulang, Hujung Permatang, Belimbing, Permatang, Pasir Penambang, Sungai Yu, Sungai Terap.
