The sixth series of Top Gear aired during 2005 and consisted of 11 episodes in total, the most of any series of Top Gear. The series began on 22 May and concluded on 7 August, but did not feature a compilation episode of the best moments from the series.[1] This series featured a search for the "Greatest Driving Song of All Time", with the top five songs each being revealed during Episodes 5 to 9, with the song voted the best being revealed on the Series Finale. [2]
