Sulfide:quinone reductase (EC 1.8.5.4) is an enzyme with systematic name sulfide:quinone oxidoreductase.[1][2][3][4][5][6] This enzyme catalyses the following chemical reaction

n HS + n quinone polysulfide + n quinol

Sulfide:quinone reductase contains FAD. Ubiquinone, plastoquinone or menaquinone can act as acceptor in different species.
