Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum is a 2017 Indian Malayalam-language family-drama film directed by Dileesh Pothan. The film stars Suraj Venjaramoodu, Fahadh Faasil, Nimisha Sajayan, Alencier Ley Lopez, Vettukili Prakash, and Sibi Thomas. It was produced by Sandip Senan and Anish M. Thomas under production company, Urvasi Theatres. It was written by Sajeev Pazhoor along with Syam Pushkaran who was also creative director. Bijibal composed the music while Rajeev Ravi handled the cinematography.
Produced on a budget of ₹65 million,[1] Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum was released on 30 June 2017 and grossed ₹179.3 million at Kerala Box office.[2] The film was cited as one of the "Top 5 Malayalam movies in 2017"[3] and "The 25 best Malayalam films of the decade" by The Hindu.[4] The film garnered awards and nominations in several categories, with particular praise for its direction, screenplay and Fahadh's performance. The film won 40 awards from 49 nominations.
At the 65th National Film Awards, Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum won awards in three categories, Best Feature Film in Malayalam, Best Screenplay (Sajeev Pazhoor) and Best Supporting Actor (Fahadh Faasil). At 65th Filmfare Awards South it received five nominations and won four, including those for Best Film, Best Director, Best Actor and Best Supporting Actor. At 48th Kerala State Film Awards it won awards in two categories, Best Screenplay and Best Character Actor. At 7th South Indian International Movie Awards it received nine nominations and won three, including those for Best Film, Critics Choice Best Actor (Fahadh) and Best Female Debut (Nimisha Sajayan). Among other wins, the film received eight Asianet Film Awards, six CPC Cine Awards, four Vanitha Film Awards, three Kerala Film Critics Association Awards, two Asiavision Awards and one International Film Festival of Kerala.
