Tao Tsuchiya (土屋 太鳳, Tsuchiya Tao, born February 3, 1995 in Tokyo) is a Japanese actress, model, and dancer.[1][2] Her older sister, Honoka, works as a model, while her younger brother, Shimba Tsuchiya, is also an actor.[3]

Career & Stage Play

Chosen from among 2,020 women auditioning for the part, Tsuchiya was cast in the starring role of Mare, a morning drama serial aired on Japan's public television starting March 30, 2015.[4]

In 2018, Tsuchiya tried a theatre performance played in four different countries, five cities around the world including Tokyo & Osaka. The production was an adaptation from manga titled Pluto. She plays two main characters as a little cyborg girl name Uran and cyborg woman, Helena. Totally different characters but she nailed it. Many praises from the critics regarding her performances.

Then another Stage Play challenge for next year in Tokyo during summer of 2020, Tsuchiya will join Madam Mari Natsuki production called Neo Vol. 4. Details can be seen here [1]
