Marry Me is an upcoming American romantic comedy film, directed by Kat Coiro, from a screenplay by John Rogers, Tami Sagher and Harper Dill, based upon the graphic novel of the same name by Bobby Crosby. It stars Jennifer Lopez, Owen Wilson, Sarah Silverman, John Bradley, Michelle Buteau, Chloe Coleman and Maluma.
Plot
According to the director, the plot of the film is described as a story of a popstar (Jennifer Lopez) being jilted by her rockstar fiancé (Maluma) moments before their wedding at Madison Square Garden, so she marries a random guy (Owen Wilson) from the crowd.

Production
In April 2019, it was announced Jennifer Lopez and Owen Wilson had joined the cast of the film, with Kat Coiro directing from a screenplay by John Rogers, Tami Sagher and Harper Dill, based upon the graphic novel of the same name by Bobby Crosby, with STX Entertainment distributing.[1] In July 2019, it was announced Universal Pictures would distribute the film instead of STX.[2] That same month, Sarah Silverman, John Bradley and Maluma joined the cast of the film.[3] In October 2019, Michelle Buteau, Jameela Jamil and Chloe Coleman, joined the cast of the film.[4][5][6]
Filming
Principal photography began in October 2019.[7] Production concluded on November 22, 2019.[8]
Music
In an interview with Jimmy Fallon in February 2020, Lopez confirmed that the movie would be accompanied by a soundtrack by Lopez and Maluma, which would consist of 10-11 songs both in English and Spanish.[9]
