Cyperus concinnus (common name - trim flat-sedge)[1] is a sedge of the family Cyperaceae that is native to Australia,[2] and found in New South Wales, Queensland, the Northern Territory, South Australia, Victoria and Western Australia.[3]

The perennial rhizomatous sedge typically grows to a height of 0.2 to 0.8 metres (0.7 to 2.6 ft) and produces brown flowers.[2]

In Western Australia it is found in swamps and around creeks and pools the Mid West, Pilbara and Goldfields-Esperance regions where it grows in sandy-clay soils.[2]

Taxonomy

It was first described in 1810 by Robert Brown.[4][5]
