The Settlers is an upcoming real-time strategy city-building game, part of The Settlers series. It's set to launch on Windows in 2020. The idea is to make the game familiar to those who already know the series, but also bring The Settlers to today's visual and gameplay standards. [1]
The announcement of the game was made at Gamescom 2018. Ubisoft is using the proprietary Snowdrop Engine to develop the game.[2]
