Leem Lubany (Arabic: ليما لباني, Hebrew: לים לובאני; born August 31, 1997) is an Arab-Israeli actress of Palestinian[3] descent. She is known for her role as Nadia in the 2013 film Omar, and as Gabrielle Joubert in the series Condor.
Early life and education
Lubany was born in Nazareth, Israel, to an Arab family of Palestinian descent.[3] She identifies as Palestinian.[4] She was a senior at Harduf Waldorf School in kibbutz Harduf, when she made her professional film debut in Omar.[5]
Career
Lubany made her debut in Omar, despite having no acting training.[5] The film made the 86th Academy Awards's shortlist for Best Foreign Language Film.[6]
In 2014, Leem Lubany appeared in A to B[7] and played the role of Salima in the comedy Rock the Kasbah.[8]
