George Dorrien

George Dorrien was Governor of the Bank of England from 1818 to 1820. He had been Deputy Governor from 1816 to 1818. He replaced Jeremiah Harman as Governor and was succeeded by Charles Pole.[1] Dorrien's tenure as Governor occurred during the Panic of 1819.
