The film stars Prabhu, Vijayakanth, Jayashree and Sudha Chandran in lead roles. The film had musical score by M. S. Viswanathan In this movie acted as villan for first&last time

Controversy
The film's crew was sued by Ayyappan devotee for allowing actress Sudha Chandran to enter Sabarimala. The film's director was let off, but Sudha was fined.[4]
