Randeep Rai (born 8 June 1993)[1] is an Indian actor. He started his acting career in 2014 by portraying Kabir Scindia in Channel V's O Gujariya: Badlein Chal Duniya. Rai is best known for his portrayal of Sameer Maheshwari in Sony TV's Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai.[2]
Early life
Before starting his acting career, Rai has appeared in more than 120 television commercial advertisements.[3]
Career
Rai started his acting career in 2014 by playing Kabir Scindia in Channel V's O Gujariya: Badlein Chal Duniya. In 2016, he played Aryan Rathi in Diya Aur Baati Hum.[4]
From 2017 to 2019, Rai portrayed Sameer Maheshwari in Sony TV's Yeh Un Dinon Ki Baat Hai, paired opposite Ashi Singh. [5] In 2019, Rai made his film debut with an appearance in Pranaam as Rahul.[6]
He also got ranked in 10 most astounding TV celebrities of the year 2018
In January 2019, Randeep walked the ramp to support Anu Ranjan's NGO #BeWithBETI Campaign
