Sutton railway station (Irish: Cill Fhionntáin) is a railway station in Fingal, Ireland that serves the village and district of Sutton, and is also accessible from Baldoyle.

History

The station opened on 30 July 1846.

The Howth tram ran between here and Howth railway station until 1959. It is on the coastal road from Sutton to Baldoyle, near Sutton Golf Club.

The ticket office is open from 05:45 AM to 20:00 PM, Monday to Sunday.

Accidents and incidents

  • On 7 November 2018, a 14:14 DART service from Howth to Bray was delayed by 25 minutes due to a vehicle striking at the level crossing at Sutton. Services on the Howth branch line were suspended that day as a result of the incident.
