Paul Jean François Bernardoni (born 18 April 1997) is a French professional footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for Angers SCO.[2]

Club career

Troyes

Bernardoni made his professional debut on 6 March 2015 in the Ligue 2 against Clermont Foot. He played the full game, which ended in a 2–0 home win.[3]

Nîmes

Bernardoni spent the 2018–19 on loan at Nîmes Olympique making a total of 40 appearances.[4] On 1 July 2019, he re-joined the club on loan for the following season having agreed a two-year contract extension with FC Girondins de Bordeaux.[4]

Angers

On 8 June 2020, Bernardoni joined Angers in a transfer worth 8 million, a club record. He signed a contract with the club lasting until 2024.[5][6]
