Princess Isabella of Croÿ (Isabella Antonie Eleonore Natalie Klementine; 7 October 1890 – 30 March 1982) was a Princess of Croÿ by birth and a Princess of Bavaria and member of the House of Wittelsbach through her marriage to Prince Franz of Bavaria, a son of Ludwig III, the last King of Bavaria.[citation needed]

Family

Isabella was born at L'Hermitage, Bayreuth, Kingdom of Bavaria, the second child of Karl Alfred, Duke of Croÿ, and his wife, Princess Ludmilla von Arenberg,[citation needed] daughter of the 8th Duke of Arenberg.

Marriage and issue

Isabella married Prince Franz of Bavaria, third son of Ludwig III of Bavaria and his wife, Archduchess Maria Theresia of Austria-Este, on 8 July 1912 at Schloss Weilburg in Baden bei Wien, Austria–Hungary.[citation needed] Isabella and Franz had two sons and four daughters:[citation needed]

Princess Isabella died at Schloss Leutstetten, Starnberg, Bavaria, Germany, aged 91.
