Malini is an Indian actress who starred in Tamil language films between 1958 and 1962. Although she only appeared in a few films, she co-starred with well-known actors of her era, including Sivaji Ganesan, M. G. Ramachandran, S. S. Rajendran and K. Balaji.

Malini has been known by various names over her career. In Bavamaradallu (1961), directed by Sri P. A. Padmanabha Rao, Malini co-starred under the name Kusuma Kumari, her Telugu name, which she changed for Tamil films. She may have also appeared in Akka Chellelu (1957) by the same director. Additionally, she appeared in the Telugu film Sankalpam (1957), directed by C. V. Ranganathan, and had a lead role with N. T. Rama Rao in Vijayalaxmi. Vijayalaxmi may have been Malini's original name, not be confused with another later well-known dancer and actress, L. Vijayalakshmi.[citation needed]
