Jung Whee-in (born April 17, 1995),[1] known professionally as Wheein, is a South Korean singer and songwriter signed under RBW. She is best known as a member and vocalist of South Korean girl group Mamamoo.[2] In April 2018, Wheein made her debut as a solo artist with her digital single "Easy".
Biography
Jung Whee-in was born in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea,[3] where she lived with her grandmother as an only child. She has been friends with her Mamamoo co-member, Hwasa, since middle school and the two pursued careers in music together.[4] She graduated from Wonkwang Information Arts High School.[5]
