Bijoy TV (transl. Victory TV,[3] in reference to Victory Day) is a satellite-based Bengali language television channel. Its studio is in Banglamotor, Dhaka.[4][5] The channel has started broadcasting regular shows since 16 December 2011. The official transmission began on 31 May 2013. This channel was established by former mayor of ChittagongABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury. Current State Minister of Education Mohibul Hasan Chowdhury is one of the shareholders and former managing director of this channel.[6][7]
