McIntosh is an unincorporated community in Liberty County, in the U.S. state of Georgia.[1]

History

McIntosh had its start when the Atlantic Coast Line Railroad was extended to that point.[2] A post office called McIntosh was established in 1857, and remained in operation until 1975.[3] Cassels' Store, the ruins of a former general store now listed on the National Register of Historic Places, is in the community.
