The Synagogue of Subotica (built in 1901–1903) in 2012, the second largest synagogue in Europe. The huge Art Nouveau-style building was threatened with collapse, making it one of the ten most endangered synagogues in the world. It was renovated between 2014 and 2018.
The Synagogue of Panchova (built in 1907–1909), which was also powerful, was not so fortunate: since Tito's Yugoslavia, like many other synagogues, did not consider it important to preserve religious relics, it was demolished in 1954. Today, only a few old photographs testify to its existence.

This list of synagogues in Serbia contains active, otherwise used and destroyed synagogues in Serbia. The list of Serbian synagogues is not necessarily complete, as only a negligible number of sources testify to the existence of some synagogues.
