Pasumarru is a village in Guntur district of the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh. It is the headquarters of Chilakaluripet mandal in Narasaraopet revenue division.[2]

Geography

Pasumarru is situated to the southeast of the mandal headquarters, Purushothapatnam,[4] at 16°04′06″N 80°11′03″E / 16.068249°N 80.184205°E / 16.068249; 80.184205. It is spread over an area of 2,974 ha (7,350 acres).[2]

Governance

Pasumarru gram panchayat is the local self-government of the village.[1] It is divided into wards and each ward is represented by a ward member.[5]

Education

As per the school information report for the academic year 2018–19, the village has a total of 6 schools. These schools include 1 private and 5 Zilla/Mandal Parishad schools.[6]
