The 2021 Tacoma Defiance season is the club's seventh year of existence, formerly as Seattle Sounders FC 2, and their seventh season in the USL Championship, the second tier of the United States Soccer Pyramid. This is the 4th season of the soccer team playing in Tacoma, Washington. Defiance is majority owned by Seattle Sounders FC.
