Prophantis adusta is a moth in the family Crambidae. It was described by Inoue in 1986.[1] It is found in India,[2] China, Japan, Taiwan, Papua New Guinea and Australia, where it has been recorded from Queensland.

Adults are brown with pale yellow wing margins, and with translucent cream bars outlined in black along the costa of the forewings.[3]
