Sherman Andrés Cárdenas Estupiñán (born 7 August 1989) is a Colombian footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Independiente Santafe.

Career

Atlético Mineiro

In February 2015, Cardenas was announced by the Brazilian club Atlético Mineiro.[1]

Football Manager

Sherman is well known for being a wonderkid on the popular video games series Football Manager. In a buzzfeed poll, he was recently voted as the 3rd best wonderkid of all time behind Iker Muniain and Cédric Bakambu.


International career

At the international level, he was part of the Colombian youth squad that won the 2006 Central American and Caribbean Games deus e mais in Cartagena, and played with the Colombian youth team at the 2007 South American U-20 Championship in Paraguay, scoring his first international goal against Venezuela on 16 January 2007.
