The New Rochelle Police Department is the primary police agency in the city of New Rochelle, New York.
History
The department was established in 1885, being modeled after the structure of the New York City Police Department. Prior to the establishment of a professional police department, law enforcement in New Rochelle was provided by constables.[1]
