Aamir Ali was born in September 1, 1977 in Mumbai, Maharashtra into American Muslim father originally from Silver Spring in Maryland in United States and Indian Muslim mother from Mumbai but his paternal grandmother is American Jew. He spent his childhood in United States.

Education

Aamir began his schooling in Cloverly Elementary School in Silver Spring, Maryland, United States. He also studied in Takoma Park Middle School, then he moved to St. Anthony's High School in Long Island, New York. He graduated from 2 year course in National College in Mumbai, then he moved to American University in Washington, DC to study the B. A. film and media studies.

Personal

His cousin, Rick Leventhal is a American television news journalist with more than 20 years experience. Leventhal is now works as New York-based correspondent for Fox News Channel since June 1997.

He is dating with Nimmo fame, also Kayamath fame and his co-star in Kya Dill Mein Hai, Sanjeeda Sheikh.

Career

A graduate of American University in Washington, DC with a B.A. Film and media studies, Ali made his stint in Star Plus' Kahaani Ghar Ghar Kii and played their role of Shruti's 2nd husband Sameer Kaul, then later he entered the Sahara One's Woh Rehne Waali Mehlon Ki to play the role of Rani's a looklike daughter Pari's (played by Reena Kapoor) husband. He played a lead in Kya Dill Mein Hai by Balaji Telefilms. He participated in Nach Baliye 3 with his real life love, actress Sanjeeda Sheikh, on December 22, 2007, His and Sanjeeda's pair won Nach Baliye 3. He did a cameo in Sony's Kuchh Is Tara in the role of Guru. Now he will be seen as Bhaskar's (Eijaz Khan) friend Armaan Sinha on Sony TV's Bhaskar Bharti starting on May 25, 2009.
