Template:Infobox Mars crater Agassiz is an impact crater on Mars, named in honor of geologist Louis Agassiz(1807–1873). The crater is 108.77 kilometres (67.59 mi) in diameter and is located at 271.1°E 69.8°N. The name was approved in 1973 by the International Astronomical Union (IAU) Working Group for Planetary System Nomenclature (WGPSN).[1]
