Alum Rock Transit Center is a light rail and bus station operated by Santa Clara Valley Transportation Authority (VTA). This station is served by VTA's Alum Rock–Santa Teresa line.

The station was opened in 2004 as part of VTA's Capitol light rail extension.[1]

Location

The Alum Rock light rail station is located in the median of North Capitol Avenue, just south of Alum Rock Avenue in San Jose, California. The bus station and park & ride lot is adjacent on the west side of Capitol Avenue. The station's address is 6 North Capitol Avenue.

VTA Bus Routes 31 and 64 no longer serve this station due to bus service updates implemented on January 14, 2008.
