Amagatsuji Station (尼ヶ辻駅, Amagatsuji-eki) is a railway station on the Kintetsu Kashihara Line in the city of Nara, Japan.

The station has two side platforms and two tracks.

2  Kashihara Line for Yamato-Saidaiji, Kintetsu Nara, Kintetsu Tambabashi, Kyoto, Osaka Namba, Hanshin and Sannomiya

History

  • 1921 - The station opens when the Unebi Line of Osaka Electric Railway (Daiki) opens
  • 1941 - Daiki merges with Sangū Kyūkō Electric Railway (Sankyu) and becomes a station of Kansai Kyūkō Electric Railway (Kankyu)
  • 1944 - Kankyu merges and becomes a station of Kintetsu
  • 2000 - The station house is rebuilt underground
  • 2007 - Starts using PiTaPa
