The Australian Journal of International Affairs (AJIA) was established in 1946 as Australian Outlook and is Australia's leading scholarly journal in this area.

AJIA is the journal of the Australian Institute of International Affairs. It is currently edited by Professor Nick Bisley at La Trobe University in Melbourne. Earlier editors include Andrew O'Neil (Griffith University), Michael Wesley (Griffith University), and William T. Tow (Australian National University).
