Avanigadda is a constituency of the Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in India. It is one of 16 constituencies in the Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh. Following the implementation in 2008 of delimitation of parliamentary constituencies, this constituency covers Avanigadda, Challapalli, Koduru, Mopidevi, Nagayalanka mandal and Ghantasala mandals. It is also a part of the Machilipatnam (Lok Sabha constituency), along with six other Lok Sabha segments of Gannavaram, Pedana, Machilipatnam, Gudivada, Pamarru, and Penamaluru.[1] As of the latest election in 2014, its member of the legislative assembly (MLA) is Mandali Buddha Prasad of the Telugu Desam Party.
